web site password requirements not met by 1password generator

Hi. I am a new user as of today, using 7.4.3. The first password that I tried to change for a web site came up with an error message when I tried to use 1Password - 'Your password should be between 8 and 16 characters.' Is there any way of changing settings so the generated password can be of a certain length or will I have to exclude that website from 1Password. Thanks Rick

    Certainly, you can change the number of characters using the slider below the password field:
