I cannot permanently disable auto fill for Safari extension

Hello,
I cannot disable auto fill for safari extension permanently. I have removed and re-installed the extension, however whenever I open Safari the ext. is offering to auto fill, in all fields, even when irrelevant.
Thank you for help with this.
Ian

  • Hi @IanKJones.

I have a few questions/comments about what you're experiencing. First, it's not possible to uninstall the Safari App Extension for 1Password 7. You can turn it off, but uninstalling requires uninstalling the whole application, since it's a part of the app these days. Secondly, you mention being offered to fill in all fields; this sounds like a feature of 1Password X, but that's not available in Safari.

Are you perhaps seeing the built-in password manager, instead? Otherwise, the only time you'll see 1Password "offer" anything is if you open 1Password mini, in which case you'll see relevant suggestions and see an AutoFill button.
