Moving from a membership account to Dropbox

Hi; I currently have a Mac, iPad and iPhone all on the latest versions of 1Password. Is it viable, or reasonable, to host my Vaults on Dropbox?

    Hi @Marc R. Jacobs!

    If you are currently syncing your data through a 1Password Membership, we recommend you continue using that method as it is the most stable and optimized for 1Password data. It also gives you access to features such as item history, and Two-Factor Authentication, among others.

    But if you still want to move your data to Dropbox, you just have to create a Primary vault in 1Password for Mac (1Password Preferences > Advanced tab > enable Allow creation of vaults outside of 1Password accounts), and move your existing data there.

    Please keep in mind that you will have to configure Dropbox sync manually on every device you own if you decide to go this way.
