in Mac

i have 1password6 licence for mac desktop, can i use this for IOS app on iphone?
or does the iphone app require separate license?

    Hi @enamtil

    1Password for iOS can be used as a companion app to a licensed desktop installation at no additional cost. That said, 1Password 6 was retired 2 years ago and is no longer receiving updates. I'd highly recommend considering an upgrade. :)

    unfortunately my older mac won’t support version 7
    but i did get the IOS app to sync with my current version

    I understand, but we really can't in good faith recommend using an outdated OS on a device that is connected to the internet. Keeping up to date with OS releases is incredibly important. We're not financial advisors, and we understand these devices come at a great cost, but the cost of not staying up to date and having a security breach as a result is likely to be much greater.

    Something to consider. :+1: I'm glad to hear you were able to get set up with 1Password for iOS in the meantime.
