1Password7 Safari extension not working

I have 1Password7 version 7.4.4 installed on my iMac. I see the extension on my Safari toolbar. But when I click it, nothing happens. Sometimes I get a notification to activate the 1Password7 extension in Safari. I click activate, but nothing happens. I can no longer use the 1Passwork7 extension in Safari. Any idea on how to fix this?

I am having the same issue but it occurs in all my browsers unless I use the 1Password X extension.

1Password X will not work with Safari, which seems to be your desired browser. It sounds as if an update is clogging up the works. A restart of your Mac may help clear it up.
