  • Hi @rgilbert

I'm very sorry to hear that. If you'd like to delete 1Password you would open Finder, navigate to your Applications folder in the sidebar, and then drag the 1Password application from there to the Trash. If you've installed the browser extension in any of your browsers, other than Safari, you'll also want to remove the extension from those browsers. Once complete, reboot your Mac, and you should be set.

That said, we'd very much like to help you use 1Password. Would you mind telling us about your experience? And would you have any interest in troubleshooting the problems you had?

    Please let me know.

    Ben

If 1Password is still running you may need to quit it before you can trash it. Please try these instructions:

    1. Quit Safari
    2. Open and then quit 1Password completely — ⌘⌥⌃Q (Command Option Control Q)
    3. Drag 1Password to the Trash
    4. Empty the Trash
    5. Restart your Mac

What do you mean by a mess? How can we help?
