Bug - inconsistent font sizes in URL fields

Hi all

Apologies if this has been posted elsewhere.

There’s a small difference in font size depending on whether you prefix your URL with https:// or not

Adding https makes the text in the URL field larger. It’s 100% reproducible.

I know it’s only a minor appearance issue but it’s been present for ages and I find it really jarring 🙃

    I think you're right. :) The https version does appear to be a slightly larger font size. I'll mention this to the team and see what the situation is. Thanks for letting us know.

    I think changing the font size is a minimum requirement for any software!

    Thank you for sharing your thoughts with us! Although in this discussion we are focusing on a bug that makes the URL use two slightly different font sizes, and we have reported this to the developers already ;)
