Trouble opening notes

I am running 1Password 7 since Feb 2020 & I cannot open my notes on imac High Sierra. What did I not activate

Can you clarify what you mean when you say cannot open? Do the notes look blank? If so, what happens if you enter edit mode? Do they appear then?
