Browser extension won't open password vault
Steps to produce
- Reboot
- Launch Chrome
- 1PasswordX signin using fingerprint (as setup in 1Password desktop app). Integrate with desktop app is selected. 90% sure it was also an issue without fingerprint auth.
- Browse - Passwords are never suggested. The 1password icon appears in login forms, but clicking it does nothing
- Clicking 1password icon in Chrome bar does nothing. It fails to open the 1password window. control click does open up the settings
- Also noticed that the 1password icon on the menu bar will ONLY open 1 password desktop app if the desktop app is already in the foreground
Expected behavior
Passwords would be suggested and normal 1password menu would open when I click on the icon in chrome. This works on the none beta release.

Nothing happens

Mac OSX 10.13.6
Chrome 83.0.4103.97 (Official Build) (64-bit)
1Password desktop app 7.6 BETA-2
1PasswordX chrome extension 1.2.0.1
A handful of other extensions installed in Chrome, but nothing that would obviously block this action (I disabled UBlock etc)
Trial subscription, I'm evaluating.

There are a few hiccups in the most recent beta of 1Password 7. You can either try disabling desktop app integration in 1Password X's settings, then restart the computer and turn it back on, or keep it disabled for now until this is fixed in the next update or so.
