New employee cannot log into macOS desktop app

I have set-up 1Password for a new employee via admin. The new employee is using a computer that was previously used by an old employee. The old employee's account is showing up under accounts in 1Password preferences. However I cannot add the new employee as an account. What am I doing wrong?

    Hi @kschnepp! Welcome to the forum!

    If this 1Password app still has old credentials from another user, please reset it following these instructions. After the reset, you will be able to login inside the 1Password app with your new account ;)
