Auto-lock for ipad and iphone past 1 hour? Please?

Hello,

Is there any chance that you can extend the auto-lock time on an ipad and iphone beyond 1 hour? I'm sure you have done extensive research on how long to set this, but for me this is very restrictive. Can you push it to 2 hours, or even more? I can set my laptop to a decent time, but the hour length really cuts me short on my other devices.

    I'm sorry for the inconvenience. Building a service like 1Password involves a lot of balancing of security and convenience. There is some flexibility offered with that, but we can only push that so far while still meeting the goals of the offering. It isn't possible to avoid locking at least once per hour, however you can avoid having to enter your Master Password every time by enabling some form of Quick Unlock. If your iPhone supports it you can enable Face ID or Touch ID, or if it does not, you can enable a PIN. We have an outline for these options available here (in order of preference and prevalence):
