Auto submit: 1Password vs. Dashlane
I understand that the auto submit function in 1Password was removed at least an year ago but I was trying out Dashlane this week and noticed they have it working. Since I understood it was an Apple security constraint, did they remove that now? Are there any plans for 1Password to bring back that functionality?

The feature was indeed removed a couple of years ago following some Apple changes. It is possible that something changed on that front now, but we currently do not have any plans to bring back this functionality regardless. It was not only a security decision, but also a usability one. From our blog post that we wrote about this some time ago:
Sometimes a website doesn’t behave as 1Password might expect, resulting in passwords being filled sub-optimally, or fields being left blank. If 1Password were to automatically submit forms in these cases, users are left with an experience that we don’t feel reflects how we want 1Password to work and can lead to confusion.
