Very Slow Sync on iMac

Hi....using the following devices

iMac
MBP
iPad
iPhone

all on latest OS and latest 1p version

iMac takes an inordinate amount of time to sync. Today I changed a password on MBP at 437pm and it sync'd to iMac at 8pm

iMac was sleeping until 7pm.

I'm using 1password.com

My thought was the password is sync'd up immediately to 1password.com so even if device is asleep or off it should be a fairly instant update once connected to the internet.

Anything I'm missing?

    If you change something on the MBP, do you see it immediately on the 1Password.com website?
