Local vault on Linux systems?

Hi,

is there a way to have a local vault on linux systems? Or is this only possible with a native app which does not (yet?) exist for linux OS?

    Hi @basurerito!

    Currently the way to use 1Password on Linux is 1Password X, which only works with vaults stored on 1Password.com. Sorry!

    Are there plans to support this in future or will you completely move to cloud-only vaults using 1Password X on all OS?

    We don't have any plans for standalone vaults on Linux, sorry.

    I wouldn't anticipate 1Password X replacing the desktop apps. I wouldn't be in a position to comment further, other than to say that we haven't advertised licenses or standalone usage in years and membership is indeed the way forward with 1Password.
