MacOS app asks for fingerprint twice if I am "too quick" when it opens from "locked state" on MBP

Hey 1Password team,

I notice if I open my 1Password app when it is locked (not the Finder Menu bar icon, but the full summoned app from Finder) and I place my finger down for the scan in the first second it shows up, the fingerprint will authenticate and then ask for my fingerprint again. If I wait a few seconds at that same prompt before laying my finger down... it works fine without a second authentication. Any chance this duplicate fingerprint prompt can be remedied?

I can supply a video of this behavior if needed.
