Struggling to update passwords on website - is it customizable?

I'm struggling with updating passwords in 1Password. Hopefully this image uploads properly, as it clearly shows the issue.
1Password generates a password with no regard to the requirement on the site. The choices are to accept the unacceptable password or reject it. Is there a way instead to modify the password (select length, allowed characters, required characters, etc.)?

This screenshot shows the requirements for the password on the website and how a couple different password managers handle the issue.
