Installed version 7, with 6 on the mac. Master password does not work and it's not user error.

I can login to with the master and I've changed the password there a couple times. I restarted the macbook. I uninstalled and reinstalled twice. No matter what I do I can not login to the mac app.

    Hi @fishandfly,

    It sounds like the Mac either has a standalone 'Primary' vault, and/or a different account from the one you're signing into with on it. Sorry about that. Either way, it is pretty easy to fix. At present, if you sign into, do you see all of your data there? If so please select Help > Troubleshooting > Reset all 1Password data from the menu bar when 1Password 7 is at the lock screen. This will clear out any cruft that is in there so you can start fresh by signing into your account. Whatever data you see at will then be available in 1Password for Mac.
