Duplicate passwords because of single-sign-on

I use websites for Humana and Humana Pharmacy. They have different URLs but they have "single sign on", where one uses the same login credentials on both sites.

Watchtower flags this situation as a duplicate password. Of course it is a duplicate, but that cannot be helped.

Other than just ignoring the Watchtower warning, how can this be handled?

If the credentials for each site are the same you can add each of the URLs to website fields on a single Login item, then delete the other items. :+1:

I have merged together two items in the way you suggested as a test. It seems that way this would be used is to use the item normally to go to the first website. If the second website is desired, after opening it in X, click on the second website listed.

    Is that about right?

  • I don't personally use 1Password as a bookmarks manager but I'd say that does sound like a reasonable approach if your workflow involves doing so. :)

I don't use it as a general bookmarks manager--just on every site that requires a login.

  • Understood. :)
