Extension wont open in Firefox private window

Options

I've read the details on this post (https://discussions.agilebits.com/discussion/114175/1passwordx-will-not-open-in-firefox) but my problem persists. I've reseted the firefox profile and only installed the 1password extension. I've allowed the extension to work on private windows so it shows up.

1) If I open a private window without changing any firefox settings and click the extension, it opens a new blank page (starting with moz-extension://). Console says: t is null.

2) If I change the Firefox privacy settings to Strict (which is how I want it to run), open a private window and click the extension, at first nothing was happening. After resetting the profile, the problem is the same as before: t is null.

Firefox 79.0 64bits

At first I had these two options set up as well:

    Never remember history
    Always use private browsing mode

That's when nothing was showing at all. As mentioned, I have now reseted the profile, and didn't select these options, but the problem persists.

Some extra messages showed up in the console in the meantime but I'm not sure how.

This page uses the non standard property “zoom”. Consider using calc() in the relevant property values, or using “transform” along with “transform-origin: 0 0”. settings.html

    Hey @seliconval ,

I'm not sure I completely follow the current state of your setup so forgive me if I'm suggesting something you've already done, but can you please set Firefox to remember history and to not use private browsing (which should indeed be the default settings), then remove 1Password X, reinstall it and relaunch Firefox, see if you are then able to click the extension icon and unlock it with your Master Password?

If that works, you can then try to enable either private browsing OR never remember history (but not both).
If that didn't work, I'd like you to send us the extension's logs to support+extesnion@1password.com, here's how: https://support.1password.com/cs/extension-console-log/
