Hi
First I want to thank everyone that has generously supported me as I come up to speed.

The 1Password X for FireFox is locked and I can't access it to sign in -
see attached.
I can sign in to the Windows 1PW app.
I copied the info from the 1PW Windows app and was able to access the desired site but 1PW X remains locked.

I did make a small change to FF on my Android device.

  • I changed default search engine to DuckDuckGo
  • Privacy - I turned on Do not track
  • Privacy/Cookies - Tracking Protection - Enabled, excluding 3rd party (was this a good thing to do?)
  • Privacy - Clear private data on exit - On
  • Privacy - Remember logins - OFF

Thanks

    Hi @ethan417!

The 1Password X for FireFox is locked and I can't access it to sign in

What happens exactly when you try to access it? Do you perhaps get an error message?

Nothing happens - it does not recognize that I clicked it.
    No error message.

    Not to worry.
    I got it to work.
    I closed and reopened FF.
    Now it works.
    Thanks

    Hey Ethan,
We're glad to hear a simple restart to the browser did the trick.

Keep in mind that enabling all protections and privacy options in Firefox might result in 1Password not being able to retain its settings files or even initialize properly, so we recommend disabling at least one of the following:

    • Never remember history.
    • Always use private browsing.

If both of these are enabled, things might not work as expected.
Hopefully you won't encounter any other issues though :)
