Remove 1Password completely or reset 1Password before recycling old computer
Some time ago you guys sent me information about completely removing 1Password and all its data prior to recycling a Mac computer. But I also see where you show a simpler procedure where you simply reset 1Password on a computer. Note that I am likely still going to erase the HDD at some point and reinstall the appropriate level of macOS onto these computers (there are 2) before I recycle them. If you were about to recycle a computer, which procedure would you do??? The full "drag to the trash and delete" and does that really delete anything??? or would you reset 1Password and empty the trash??? I would guess the longer procedure but I'd like to hear it from you.
You're going to recycle a Mac laptop. How would you make sure all the 1Password Data was gone and not retrievable???
thanks...
1Password Version: 7.6
Extension Version: ??
OS Version: 10.15.6

Hi @diitto
If you were about to recycle a computer, which procedure would you do?
I would completely erase the hard drive, rather than trying to erase individual files/apps, etc. Apple has an excellent guide on this available here:
What to do before you sell, give away, or trade in your Mac - Apple Support
This is probably the least work yet most effective method.
