If I have an iMac, an iBook, an iPhone and an iPad how many subscriptions do I need?

Welcome to the 1Password Support Forum. 1Password membership includes the 1Password apps for any/all of your compatible devices. You do not need a separate subscription for each device. A couple of pages that may be helpful:
