Cant setup 2fa on MS Authenticator or Authy

Hello. I am installing 1password on my new MacBook. I had setup 2fa on my previous installation but this is the first time (after several years) I am installing it on a new computer. My problem is that I cannot configure MS Authenticator or Authy.

When I try to create a new account, both apps wont accept the QR code or Account Key I have on my emergency kit. When I run 1password on the Mac, I can use the QR code to retrieve the account information but it, then, asks for 2fa and, since I cant get Authy or MS Authenticator to work, I cant log...

Any help would be appreciated!

    I just figured out that I need a different QR code... Had to disable 2fa using my phone and re-enable that so the proper QR code could be processed by the authentication app. Solved.
