Is there an explanation of how to deal with all of the possible implementations of 1Password?
Ikons for 1P seem to be all over - IP App running in browser browser extentions, IP Mini, IP X, IP's server, and maybe others. It seems that IP is also integrated into Safari. Do you have an explanation of the origin of each instance and screen shots showing which instance each ikon is related to? Would it be worthwhile to disable all but IP X?

Hi @wbw!
You could certainly use just 1Password X if you prefer: 1Password X is our latest version of the browser extension, designed to run entirely in the browser without the need to install the 1Password desktop app. You can read more about it here:
1Password X
The companion browser extension is our older browser extension, the one that required the 1Password app to be installed. Because 1Password X is an exclusive for 1Password subscribers, you would use the older companion browser extension if you don't have a 1Password account, for example, or in Safari, where 1Password X is currently not available.
1Password mini is just a miniature version of the 1Password desktop app, which you can access from the menu bar for quicker access instead of having to open the main 1Password app. Which one you use comes down to personal preference however, but as you discovered, there is nothing that stops you from installing everything and see which one you prefer :)

Thanks for the prompt reply. One question to follow up - If I change a Master Password using the Desktop app how long would it take for all of the other instances of 1P to sync with that change? If the sync is universal and without delay, I think I would run all versions.

When you say "Master Password for your account," does that mean changing the Master Password in the 1Password instance that is installed on your servers?

Thanks. That helps.
