1Password X not locking on sleep with Edge browser on Mac

Hi,

I'd expect this to be pretty easily reproducible. The "Lock after system is idle" choice works just fine but sleep does not at all. I'm using macOS 10.15.6, Edge "Version 86.0.622.19 (Official build) Beta (64-bit)", and Password X 1.22.1.

As an alternative, I installed the Chrome 1Password extension since Edge supports Chrome extensions. And while it installed successfully, I got a message that the Edge browser wasn't signed and so 1Password would not autofill anything. That certainly is a good idea if not signed but I'm really surprised that would be true of MS Edge.

Thank you

    Hey @DarthElmo ,

When you put your computer to sleep, try waiting 20-30 seconds before waking it up, then see if 1Password X is locked or not.
If you wake the computer up immediately, 1Password X might not have had a chance to run its sleep test cycle.

Also, make sure that this setting is turned on in 1Password X's settings:
    1. Right click the 1Password X extension's icon on the top right corner of your browser and select "Settings".
    2. In the new settings tab that opens, under the "Security" section, make sure that "Lock when device goes to sleep" is turned on.

As for the old companion extension, you'll need to perform several steps before you can work with it in Edge:
    1. Perform these steps first: https://support.1password.com/could-not-connect/#for-all-browsers
    2. Then perform these steps: https://support.1password.com/could-not-connect/#for-all-browsers
    3. If it still doesn't work, restart 1Password and your browser: https://support.1password.com/cs/extension-already-installed/#completely-quit-1password-and-your-browser

    I hope that helps :)

    Hi @ag_yaron ,

I read your initial comments this morning and thought, okay now I'll need to do everything I've already done over again. Unsurprisingly, "Lock when device goes to sleep" is enabled. But this time, the lock worked properly. I waited up to five minutes yesterday after putting my Mac to sleep and 1PX was still unlocked when waking the Mac back up. I performed a lot of extension installs/uninstalls yesterday. I don't know what to say except to apologize for wasting your time and I do appreciate it.
