Why do some links I save not become logins?

I save a link in what I think is the normal way and when I go to use it later - it is missing my username. So I edit and add this field. And eventually 1p asks me if I want to make this a login. All this takes time. What am I doing wrong? Or what is 1p doing wrong? Thank you!

I'm sorry to hear about the difficulty saving some Login items such that they include your username. Is this by chance happening with sites that spread their login process across multiple pages? If so, this guide may help:
