Adding symbols on iphone

I am trying to edit a number with dashes on my iphone 12 running iOS 14. The only options seem to be numbers, letters or emojis. Is there a way to add symbols. I can do this on my iPad or Mac but having trouble finding a way on my iphone.

    I can see the symbols option in my password generator on 1Password for iOS:

    What version of the 1Password for iOS app are you running?

    Thanks for responding. I’m using version 7.7. I’m not using the password generator but am editing an entry field.

    Thank you for the confirmation. I am able to add symbols manually here when I edit a password field. Do you mind posting a screenshot that shows the iOS keyboard when you try to do this?
