symbols and numbers controls gone
Hi. Just updated to the latest version 7.7 and noticed that the control for the number of symbols and numbers are gone. Why did you all remove this feature? I loved this feature. Please bring it back. I noticed that the security of the password is reduced if you don't have more symbols and numbers to the password. Thanks.

Welcome to the forum, @lmurphy! What you're seeing in the new 7.7 release is something we've been moving toward across all our 1Password apps recently - the new Strong Password Generator. It's adoption has happened at different times in different apps because they have all had their own other priorities to work on, but we were always headed this way. The short answer is that it has to do with randomness of your passwords (and therefore, the strength). For a more complete answer, I'll let our Chief Defender Against the Dark Arts, Jeff Goldberg, explain why in a recent post. Let us know if you have any questions.
