    I'm having the same issue. cmd+\ opens up a prompt from the desktop app to install the browser extensions even though I already have them installed. Clicking on the browser extension gives me a menu as if the desktop app isn't on. Guessing they can't see each other for some reason.

    Mac OSX Catalina 10.15.6
