    just upgraded to 1password 7.7 not seeing apple watch preference.. sorry to see my macbook air (2013) is not supported. Even though I'm able to use my apple watch to unlock my Mac. but apparently not capable of unlocking 1password.

    Hi @kansast,

    Indeed; sorry about that. Unlocking 1Password using Apple Watch requires Secure Enclave hardware which wasn't included in Macs until 2016 (later than that for some models). iMacs didn't get one until this year. I can't use the feature on my primary work machine either, as it is a 2015 iMac, so I understand the feeling. Fortunately it appears Apple is including a Secure Enclave in all new Macs going forward.

    Thanks for the reply. That explains that.. Not surprised that this old a laptop is missing a requirement of some kind. Thank you for the explanation.
