Updating to 1P v7.7 and getting Error 67688

This is reproducible on MacBook Air running Catalina. 1P will NO LONGER RUN.

How to proceed?

    @Jeff,

    are you getting a crash report with that error code in it? if so could you try booting into safe mode, launching 1Password and then rebooting normally?

    No, didn't get a crash report. But I did remove 1P, reinstalled it, and it came up at the current v7.7 version. So no idea why the process failed, but things are working now.
