When opened from browser (Firefox and Chrome) suggestions not showing filtered results

When using browser extension (I tried both Chrome and Firefox) the mini version opens to suggestions, but the results are not filtered. However, if I open the dropdown is suggestions and then re-select "Suggestions - ..." results will then filter and show only relevant entries.
