Syncing problems between devices

Hello! I have a Teams subscription plan. I'm trying to sync my Mac (mid 2012), iPhone (6s) and iPad Pro. My Mac and iPhone are synched but the iPad is different. On my Mac and iPhone I don't see any sync option in my preferences. On my iPad, 1Password is synched through Dropbox.

1) Why don't I see sync options on my computer and iPhone?
2) How do I sync all three?

Thanks,
Debbie

@arealie: Thanks for getting in touch. I'm sorry for the difficulty with regard to not having the same data on your devices. In order for that to work, you'd need to have all your devices setup the same way. For example, you won't have a "sync" option at all when you're using 1Password with a membership account, as sync is built-in. Dropbox is not used for that.

In order to get everything in your account, and setup all your devices the same, please do the following:

    1. Sign into your 1Password membership account in your web browser: http://start.1password.com

    2. Check your data there and confirm that you have your account's Emergency Kit: https://support.1password.com/emergency-kit/

    3. Open the 1Password app on your device which has data which is NOT already in your 1Password membership account, and make sure you're signed in (Preferences/Settings > Accounts) -- for example, your iPad

    4. Switch to the Primary vault from the rainbow All Vaults icon in the upper left, and see what you have there that you need: https://support.1password.com/all-vaults/

    5. Move any items you need from the Primary vault to your account's Personal/Private vault: https://support.1password.com/move-copy-items/

    6. Repeat for any other devices where you have data which is NOT yet in your 1Password membership account

    7. Confirm that you have all of your data in your account now: https://start.1password.com

    8. Reset the 1Password app on all your devices: https://support.1password.com/starting-over/

    9. Setup the 1Password app again with ONLY your 1Password membership account by signing in

That way you'll have the same data on all devices, and any changes you make going forward. Let me know how it goes. :)

    Hi Brenty,
Thank you so much! I followed your directions and now I have 1Password on my iPad -- I think correctly. The only problem is that with instruction 5 - Move any items you need from the Primary vault to your account's Personal/Private vault - I got lazy because there were too many to compare. So, I copied everything over to my Private vault. Then I deleted the app on my iPad, reinstalled it and I think it's working. But there are multiple copies. How do I delete duplicates?
    Thanks,
    Debbie
