1Password X won't open on Brave Browser

in 1Password in the Browser

After successfully installing 1Password X on Brave v1.17.75 nothing popups out when I left click the extension icon with a lock over it or press "shift + ctl + x". Right click works though. I've re-installed and restarted multiple times, but still no luck.

OS Version: Ubuntu 20.04.1

    No, 1Password X works great with Brave on my macOS device.

    @conr – Ana was wondering if the issue was happening in a different browser, like Chrome for example. Could you double check that for us? Thanks in advance!

    @kaitlyn installed it on Firefox and Chrome for Linux and the extension immediately prompted me to sign in, so they are working fine.

    Resolved. Removing preferences and re-installing Brave fixed it.

    sudo apt purge brave-browser
    sudo rm -rf ~/.config/BraveSoftware/Brave-Browser
    sudo apt update
    sudo apt install brave-browser
