no activation of 1pw safari extension 14.0.1 and catalina possible
the safari extension for 1pw7.7 can not be activated on an macbook pro 4,1 with Catalina 10.5.7 and safari 14.0.1. when clicking on the activation square field the safari message tasks about "apps/services preventing clicks and therefore no activation off the extension possible." (I just have the German text in front of me... ) Complete shout down of 1pw doesn't help either. What can I do?

safari message in english: "Safari detected an app or service that interfered with clicking. to protect your privacy and security, this extension was not turned on. After quitting the app or service, you can try to turn in this extension again". I tried but it didn't work...

Please see this help topic from Apple it should solve this for you. Safe mode is the portion that has helped everyone I have encountered.

no success :-( I started in safe mode, safari extension could NOT be activated, same error message (Safari detected an app....). Then I tried to start 1pw. It crashed with the code signing error. Second start did not solve the problem. So now I am back at the beginning...It looks like installation issue with leads to the extension problem.

Thank you! Can you try downloading a fresh copy of 1Password from our website, and reinstalling it?

Did it, no success.
The installation terminated with error, the 1password reported unexpected stop with crash report as before. the application is available in the application folder. When I start 1pw it it crashes, immediate restart let 1pw starts successfully . BUT safari extension problem still there. After restart of macOS starting 1pw leads to crash. it takes some time to get it restarted, then it crashes again, immediate restart let 1pw start ok.
I think this is not the normal behaviour 1pw should have....
