Big Sur menu bar tool tip?

I updated to Big Sur yesterday, and it prompts a question. Maybe it's a historical question, maybe it's question about a missing feature. Did 1Password ever provide a tool tip for its icon in the menu bar? When you hover the mouse over an icon, a bit of text identifying the application pops down below the icon. I think I am missing these tips from a number of applications that used to provide them. 1Password does not do this now, but some other applications still do. Mostly I don't think about these things, except when trying to explore a new OS. Did 1Password ever provide a tip like this? If it did, how did it disappear from Big Sur? (Sorry to muse like this. Memory has faded about past behavior, and many applications did provide these tips. Only some still do.)

1Password Version: 7.7
Extension Version: 7.7
OS Version: 11.0.1
Sync Type: 1Password Account

That's in interesting question. I fired up a VM of 10.15 and 1Password 7.6 with no tool tip. Another VM with 1Password 6 and 10.13 also yielded no tool tip for me.
