Unlock with Watch Not Working
The Unlock with Watch feature sounds amazing, but I have never been able to get it enabled. My Mac unlocks fine with the watch, but 1Password doesn't seem to think that it's setup.
I'm seeing this same issue and I'm running:

@ag_ana- It is not. Is that a requirement for this feature? If so, why is it even presented in the UI? I use my watch to unlock my Mac many, many times daily.

It is indeed a requirement.

Unlocking 1Password is not the same as unlocking the Mac, since 1Password needs to decrypt your data, not just unlock the app. This is why the Secure Enclave is a requirement.
If so, why is it even presented in the UI?
I have asked the team about this. I am not sure if you are supposed to see the option or if it should be hidden. I will post back as soon as I hear something :+1:

I received an update about the Preferences setting: it should indeed not appear if you have a Mac that does not support the feature, so what you are seeing is a bug. The good news is that our developers confirmed that they discovered what the cause of this was, and that they addressed it in the latest beta. Because of this, you should not see this option anymore after the next update, but if you do, please let us know and we will be happy to take a closer look :+1:

I have the same problem. I can unlock my mac with the apple watch but not 1password.
I have a 2019 Macbook Pro with touchbar
I'm running Mojave 10.14.6
1password 7.7 - same version browser extension0 -
In the Security pane of 1password preferences it does not show the option to "unlock using" apple watch. Ot inly has touch id which is selected and working.

macOS 10.14 is not compatible with this feature unfortunately. Please update to the latest version of macOS for best compatibility with 1Password.
System requirements for 1Password
As a security focused company we'd always recommend running the latest versions of all of your software, but especially your operating system, web browser(s), and 1Password.
