Anyway to remove super annoying Safari "click ok to confirm" requirement?

I'm guessing this is an Apple thing and not 1Password, but I'm hopefully someone has an easy way to remove this super annoying popup that occurs when trying to fill any form field using 1Password:

I now have to double confirm everything I do and it is so annoying. I looked through the Safari preferences and didn't see anything particularly obvious.

Hey @ethanSLC! Thanks for reaching out.

That prompt when filling a Credit Card or Identity item is actually coming from 1Password rather than Safari. It can't be disabled, but it would be nice for it to appear less often in the future (we're exploring ways we can do just that). All in all, it's to make sure our users are as safe as they can possibly be when filling sensitive info. The prompt was meant to be shown when filling via the inline menu as extra protection in case the possibility exists for someone (or some script) to steal focus and spoof interaction with the site you're on. However, I recently noticed that the prompt is appearing even when filling from 1Password mini (in Safari). I've let our developers know about that aspect of it.

HNY @Kaitlyn ! Had a great one myself.

And FWIW the reason I rarely visit the support forums anymore is that 1Password is so darn good! It's a Canadian success story that everyone who works at 1Password (around the globe) should be proud of.

  • 💙 Thanks for the kind words, @ings!
