Why won't 1Password fill out a login on a non-default browser?

I'm sorry to sound so angry but, for the love of God, why won't 1Password open and fill out a login form in one's non-default browser???? I use Chrome, Firefox, and Safari on my new Mac with Chrome set as my default browser. But whenever I'm using either Firefox or Safari, if I type the shortcut for Fill Login or Show 1Password, 1P always opens up Chrome and does logs me in there. Even if I click or double-click on one of the other browsers to try to tell 1P what I'm using that browser, not Chrome, it still logs me in on Chrome. This has been a bug for years and you folks won't fix it. It's infuriating. And this isn't the first time I've complained about this.

    Hi @rlf!

Can you please share the steps you are following to make this happen, so we can test them here too? Thank you!
