MacBook “Helper tool”

Why does my Mac keep asking if I want to install a 1Password Helper Tool? I keep saying NO, and everything is working fine.

    I’m on v7.7. Big Sur.

    I am not sure what you mean by asking about installing a helper tool. We do have a menubar item that is used to communicate with the browsers. Are you being prompted to enable it? Can you let us know more about what you see? The menubar item would typically be enabled for optimal performance.

    A message box was popping up, “1Password needs to install a Helper Tool”. Allow? I pushed No both times. I haven’t had that question pop up again. If and when I do, I will screenshot. Seemed fishy to me.
