No longer able to edit passwords or add new passwords

I'm on version 7.7 and a few days ago I started to be unable to edit or add new passwords (at around the time when I started using an new M1 Macbook). Those edit and 'add new' options are no longer available at the top of the app.
I purchased this version from the App Store. Is it possible that I am being FORCED to subscribe to a license now even though I purchased the full product some time ago?

The App Store version is subscription only. The version from AgileBits allows you to use a licence if you prefer, though this option is somewhat hidden.

What version of 1PW is the licence for? If it's not for 1PW7, then you would need a new licence.

Problem solved. I re-downloaded the version directly from the 1Password website and now it all works! Thank you.
