Adding possibility to sync both to local folder and iCloud
Hi,
Could you add the possibility to simultaneously sync with iCloud and a local folder? This is particularly useful for the many of us having bought 1Password rather than using the cloud-based version. As both features already exist, it doesn't seem to be much of work to do so.
I currently sync 1Password with iCloud and I store my Apple ID password............ in 1Password! After all, that's what 1Password is meant for. Now, if my Mac gets lost/stolen, how will I access my 1Password vault? I need to access iCloud first, but the corresponding password is in the vault...
If I could sync on a local folder (backed up by Time Machine on an external drive) or directly on an external drive, I could easily gain access to my vault without having to connect to iCloud first.
Thanks,
1Password Version: 7.7
Extension Version: 70700015
OS Version: Not Provided
Sync Type: iCloud

You might consider creating an emergency kit and storing it securely. I keep several Passwords stored on my Emergency Kit. My iCloud password, 1Password Master Password, for example. I keep my Emergency Kit stored in a fireproof floor safe. That way, if I ever need access, it's available. This is also a great idea for estate planning needs.

Hey,
Agreed. That said, adding the option to simultaneously sync a folder + iCloud (or Dropbox) is a real advantage in my opinion. But 1Password team doesn't even seem to be willing to answer...0
