browser extension isn't working on my macbook (OS11.1)

I updated Safari to the latest version, turned off Safari passwords. When I click the 1 Password icon, I can type in my password once. Not sure if I typed in correctly or incorrectly but it goes back to the login window but then won't let me retype the password. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling both the app and the extension but can't get it to work.

What is the exact version of the 1Password for Mac app that you are currently running?

Thank you for the confirmation. What happens exactly when you try to type the password a second time? Do you get an error message?

Would it also be possible for you to share a short screen recording of what is happening?

I tried restarting the computer and turning the extension on and off. When I first brought up a website, it looked like it was going to work, as I got the login window for 1password. It disappeared, though, and the 1password icon appeared in both the user name and password areas of the website. However, if I clicked on those, nothing happened and nothing happens if I click on the 1password icon in the browser window.
Not sure sharing a screen shot will be helpful as it will only show an arrow going to the icon and nothing happening.

You are right, a screenshot would not be very useful based on what you are describing. A screen recording might be much better, would you be able to send us one via email?
