So I have just a couple of (Intranet) sites that pop up a system style dialog (Firefox) rather than a prompt on the actual web page and 1Password doesn't seem to be able to fill this. Which is odd as those dialogs used to be really common a few years ago. It looks like this

1Password Version: 7.6.785
Extension Version: 1.223
OS Version: Windows 10 (20H2)
Sync Type: 1Password

    Hey @thrint ,

These basic auth prompts belong to the browser itself and not the website. While 1Password can only autofill HTML forms on actual webpages, there is still a way to log into such websites that trigger basic auth prompts:

    1. Manually create a login in your 1Password for that website (Open 1Password, click the PLUS button, select "Login" from the list of options, then fill your info in the new login item including your username, password and the website's login page URL).
    2. Instead of going to the website and triggering this prompt, click the 1Password X extension icon to show 1Password, select the login of that website and click on "Go" so that the extension will take you there.
    3. If your username and password are correct, 1Password X will log you in without even showing the basic auth prompt.

Give that a try and see if it works.
