New Vault Items Don't Appear Until You Relaunch 1Password
10+ year user of 1Password. Early adopter of 1Password for Families. Over 1800 items in the combined vaults.
Lately we’ve been noticing an issue where items transferred between vaults doesn’t show up until you close 1Password completely and relaunch 1Password. Typical scenario is transferring from a personal vault to the “Parents” vault. I always chalked it up to a watched DB doesn’t sync. But today I moved an item at 9:45am and my husband when to look for it at 4pm and it wasn’t there. He “quit 1Password completely”; relaunched; and it was there.
I just did a "create new entry directly in the 'Parents' vault" and it exhibited the same problem. He said, "I didn’t see it at first in all vaults, then I clicked into "Parents" vault and saw screens refresh a couple times…then it showed up..then I went back to all vaults and it appears just fine.
I wonder if going into the specific vault is how to force an update"
Both Sides are using the same version of 1Password and macOS 11.1.

The development team is investigating reports such as yours where our notifier (of sync changes) is being blocked on the computer or the network level. Switching vault and back again can help items show up more easily while we continue to look into this.
