Using the authenticator app option rather than a hardware key?

I have had hardware keys established for 1P.com since the "beginning". And so whenever it is appropriate I am prompted for a key for authentication. For argument sake, say I don't have easy access to one of the two keys, then how does one make the option for the authenticator app that is also associated with the account to "come up"?

    Hi @jmjm!

    In that case, you can cancel the prompt to use the hardware key, and enter your code instead. This documentation page has the instructions for every operating system.
