Empty autofill box on Firsttechfed.com

Before logging in to firsttechfed.com, I am sometimes presented with a blank selection dialog. This isn't a big deal because I have to un-focus and re-focus the username input box. Just thought you'd like to know about this.

I have two accounts on that site (which may be contributing) and for some reason I am unable to reproduce this with the developer tools on. It is most consistently reproduced when I use Ctrl+Shift+R to refresh the page and based on observation it seems like to be related to the auto-focus on the input box.

I don't know enough about debugging Firefox extensions to be much more of help.

This is using 1Password X version 1.23.0 on Firefox 85.0, on Linux Mint 20.1.

    Hey @LiraNuna ,

That's interesting. Is this the only website you encounter the issue on? Do you wait a few moments for the page to load up before calling 1Password with the keyboard shortcut, or do you immediately press the shortcut as soon as you see the field (even if the page is still loading)? Are you able to test this on another browser, just for testing purposes?

I wasn't able to replicate it here, so any further details and info on how to reproduce would be quite helpful.

I have seen it a few times on schwab.com but it is very rare, much more pronounced on firsttechfed.com. I do not interact with the page at all to get that problem to show up.
I'll try to reproduce this on Chromium and report back.

    Thank you @LiraNuna .

If this occurs on Chrome as well, it might be helpful to get the extension's log: https://support.1password.com/cs/extension-console-log/
Then you can send it to us to support+extensions@1password.com with a link to this discussion.

I was not able to reproduce this in Chromium, but I did get it to reproduce with developer tools open!
I'm aware this isn't the best as the code is minified but at least it shows the exception cause.

Please note that I have uBlock origin installed and have "Enhanced Tracking Protection" set to "Strict" - HOWEVER, I was able to reproduce it with both of them disabled.

Best way I found to reproduce it is to open a new tab (mine opening to about:home), go to firsttechfed.com using that tab, fully waiting for that page to load, then press "Log in" on the top right corner, which will cause the issue to show up.

Thanks for the details and video @LiraNuna

I'd like to file this in our tracking system with all the information. Can you please reproduce the issue and grab the extension's log (not the webpage's console)?

I cannot seem to make the extension's console show anything when I reproduce the issue.
Please note that the page console log I've shown is pointing to moz-extention://f04bf78f-fd05-4824-83bf-a0bf9a45ce81 , which matches the internal id shown in about:debugging, which proves to me that the log in the picture/text I shared is generated by the extension and not the web page in question.

    Thanks for checking @LiraNuna .

I'll file this issue internally so we can track it and any other similar reports we get on the matter.
