Go here:

https://www.whitehouse.gov/contact/

1Password will not recognize the field STREET on this web page and fill it with the top line of the 1Password field ADDRESS. (It does fill city, state perfectly).

It also does not do Zip/Postal Code* either. The * means the field is required. This symbol * is used frequently to indicate which fields in online forms are REQUIRED

I'd perhaps call these bugs . . .

    Hey @FogCityNative ,

The street field on this form is of type "TextArea", which we do not autofill. "TextArea"s are blocks of text, like the body of an email message or the box where you write your reply here in the forum. If we'd let 1Password autofill "TextArea" boxes, that might be catastrophic if users accidentally fill in their credentials inside huge boxes of plain text (and god forbid send it to someone by mistake or have the website record it).

The zip code field did autofill correctly for me, so I'd like you to create a new identity item in your 1Password for testing purposes. Fill out as many fields of information in the new identity item as possible, then test autofilling again and see if the zip code field is being autofilled.
You can also test it here if you'd like: https://fill.dev/form/identity-simple

As a workaround to the street address box, you can use the drag and drop method:
    1. Click the 1Password extension icon on the top right corner of your browser (might be hiding inside the little puzzle piece icon) to show 1Password.
    2. Select your identity item to see its content.
    3. Scroll down to the address field, grab it with your mouse and drag it from the extension's window into the field on the website and drop it there.

Using drag and drop allows you to bypass and fill almost any type of field, regardless if 1Password supports it or not :)

Tried dragging from 1Password to this text box, but it only drags the ENTIRE Field like this (edited to hide identity, the address is fake data)

    6799 Faker Court
    San Francisco CA 94110-1234
    United States

How would I drag and drop JUST the first line, the street address?

Do you think it has any value sending in a help request asking them why they are using a text-area instead of an address field??

    Hey @FogCityNative ,

You can edit your identity item and add a custom field called "Street Address", then you'll be able to drag and drop it with your mouse into that text area.

It is always a good idea to contact a website that makes things harder for users and let them know how to improve, and I encourage you to do so with any piece of software or webpage you encounter hardships on. The more users complain, the faster and better things will get fixed :)

User feedback is one of the top reasons why 1Password is so great!
