After saving the password for a new website, 1Password keeps asking to "Update existing" at login
I love 1Password, but honestly, after 2 years of use, I still don't understand which is the correct flow to save a new login directly from the browser.
For example:
I was on a new website registration form.
When it's time to input password, I used the one suggested from 1Password (it sometimes suggests and sometime not).
Ok, if I just go this way, the new password is saved under "Passwords", not "Logins".
If I re-click on the password field, I'm offered the chance to "Save in 1Password".
If I click that button, it works...
BUT
1Password keeps asking to "Update existing" at each subsequent login.
And it keeps even if I add the website to the ignored domains under Preferences -> Browser -> Autosave!
I'm currently using Safari.

Hey @teejay87 ,
This is a bug that was introduced in the 7.7 update in which 1Password continuously asks to save/update the password, and is already mostly fixed in our beta build. You can wait for it to arrive to the stable version, or you can install the latest beta right now and see if things have improved to your liking: https://support.1password.com/betas

Good that's a bug and not a feature it drives me nuts. LOL
Any idea when the next final version will be released. 7.7 is so buggy I was close to throwing my computer out of the window.0 -
Hey @MarcoG ,
I don't have a date or an ETA on when the next stable update will be released, but if there are issues that really interrupt your workflow I strongly recommend you use the beta. It is safe to use and non-destructive to your data. You can always go back to the stable version by downloading it from our website and installing it over the beta :)
