Safari Import Support

I've read from a 2018 post that there was no import function from Safari. Is this still the case? Any known workarounds for this? It's easy for users who have few things saved in there but when there are hundreds it becomes too crazy to save it over manually.

Exporting Safari passwords (stored via iCloud Keychain) can be obtained via the Get_Safari12_Passwords script in the converter suite. It will place them in a CSV file on your Desktop, which you then convert to a 1Password 1PIF file to import into 1Password.

Watch a screen video of how the process works here, then head over to the converter suite thread next. I'm here if you need additional guidance.

Hey thanks @MrC that will be helpful. Definitely means I have to do it for anyone in the family who needs to get their stuff out. Would be nice if 1Password could implement some feature to make it accessible to more users.

As far as I know, Apple has provided no means for third parties to do this.

I wonder if it is now possible with the new Chrome extension that brings keychain over to Windows.

Since Apple wrote and provides the extension, I would doubt it.
